In May 2006, David Gilmore of Pink Floyd fame, performed a concert at the Royal Albert Hall with bandmate Richard Wright on keyboards.
He closed the show, as he always does with, arguably, the most iconic guitar solo in history, Comfortably Numb.
I know I’ve included this number in a previous blog but this version is EXTRAORDINARY!!
I cry every time I hear it as it is SO emotionally powerful.
This time, he shares the vocals with none other than the brilliant David Bowie.
